Dutch Oven Blueberry Cobbler
This summer, I’ve shared two of the easiest Dutch oven recipes we love: Perfect Pineapple Upside Down Cake, and Dutch Oven Potatoes to get anyone unfamiliar with dutch oven cooking off on the right foot. This recipe for Dutch Oven Blueberry Cobbler is the third in the “easy” series before diving into scratch cooking.
It works with just about any fruit including fresh, canned, or pie filling. I like it with fresh fruit, and since we have been stocking up on blueberries, that’s what I’m using for this post. If you do use fresh fruit, it could be a little tart, so if you like, sprinkle some sugar or splenda over the fruit before making the recipe.
Also, it works well with different flavors of cake mix. That’s how family recipes evolve is someone takes something simple, and changes it up. The versatile options are endless!
And face it, nothing sounds better on a cool fall night than a bowl of clam chowder and warm bread followed up with a little Dutch oven blueberry cobbler. Sooo Good!

We have been making this for several years when we go camping. Have made it with Blueberry Pie filling, Peach pie filling, and also a combination of the two. Have also made Apple Pie filing with Spice cake. All are delicious!
Soooo, is it ( blueberry cobbler ) so good it’s a secret? How am I supposed to access the recipe, there are zero ways on ways to get the recipe. Please remember, us men aren’t that bright INSIDE the house. 🙂 I assume now that I’m looking I have to go to Facebook, Pinterest etc. I make it a point NOT to use those sites so an email would be appreciated if possible, if not I do understand.
